I was mostly attracted to the position because it offered me an opportunity to expand beyond my current role. As the Director of Finance, I am part of a Leadership Team that will make decisions that not only impact the local Academy but, all of the Matchbook Learning Schools.
One of the biggest challenges as serving as Matchbook Learning Director of Finance will be serving multiple locations where the rules for School Accounting may vary. Managing the needs and expectations of both Corporate and the Academies will also be a challenge.

Why should gifted educators consider working for a Matchbook school?
A gifted educator should consider working for a Matchbook Learning School because the core of the Matchbook Learning Model is effective and is changing the way we look at educating children. The approach is targeted and the results are measurable. The most compelling thing about the Matchbook Learning Model is that it is practical. Meeting a child where they are makes sense.
